If you would like to show some of your work in our gallery in August, we will be collecting submissions August 10th and 11th. Get ready dudes and dudettes! It’s time to moonwalk into the night of your life! Ladies, grab your scrunchies, and gentlemen, it’s time to dust off your parachute pants. Let’s get the D.J. to crank up the boombox, and party like it’s 1985 with all of those old tunes that we know and love. It will be a night bigger than the hairspray can we use to hold it all together!

This event is BYOB!! Water, soft drinks and light refreshments available. “Best” 1980s Awards will be given for those who truly embrace their “inner 80s!”

Learn more about the hobby of Miniatures while making your own room-box during this class taught by local miniaturists Sara Bethea and Suellen Hoecker. The class will have the opportunity to display the miniatures they make during the annual Miniature Masterpieces Exhibit at Murray Arts Council. The class fee of $40 includes all necessary materials. Sign up for this class by November 15, 2024. The class size is limited to 10 participants, and is for those aged 15 and older. Questions about this class may be sent to murrayartscouncil@gmail.com.
