2026 Local Artists Show Featuring Vic Webb
Murray Arts Council is proud to announce Vic Webb as its 2026 Featured Artist, showcasing his unique artwork and creative talent during this year’s Local Artists Show.
A longtime resident of Chatsworth, Webb has called the community home for more than 32 years. He studied Fine Arts at Valdosta State University and has spent years developing his craft and finding inspiration in the natural beauty that surrounds North Georgia.
For Webb, inspiration can be found in the simple, often-overlooked moments of everyday life—from the forest floor and quiet rivers to peaceful lakes and the beauty of the great outdoors. His love of nature is reflected throughout his artwork, creating pieces that invite viewers to slow down and appreciate the world around them.
Webb works in a variety of mediums, including oil pastels, oil paints, acrylics, colored pencils and alcohol markers. His creativity doesn’t stop at traditional art, either. In a fun and unexpected twist, Webb has even put his artistic talents to work on a BBQ smoker.
Outside of his art, Webb works at Shaw Industries and enjoys spending time with his wife of 32 years, Alisha. Together, they have three children and six grandchildren. Webb also enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors—activities that continue to provide inspiration for his work.
Murray Arts Council invites the community to come meet Webb, view his artwork, and celebrate the talent of a local artist who has spent decades making Chatsworth his home. While you are there, you will also have the opportunity to take in work by twelve more local artists, in various mediums, from pottery to painting to welded metal.
