SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

Murray Arts Council presents a free concert series at Chatsworth City Park each summer sponsored by The City of Chatsworth. Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy performances by local and regional performers in beautiful Chatsworth City Park on our bandstand stage with public restrooms available. Food & beverage vendors present.

JUNE 21: CHASTAIN ROAD with Pearce Landfear, Opener

Opening act Pearce Landfear will perform folk music classics. Chastain Road is a family band from the heart of Georgia, blending country, rock, blues, and pop into a sound that’s warm, soulful, and full of life. Led by Tim Chastain (vocals, rhythm guitar), the group includes his daughter Annie Elder (vocals), son Elijah Chastain (drums), son-in-law David Elder (lead guitar), and close family friend Corey Forsyth (bass). Their set includes heartfelt ballads to upbeat anthems from such artists as The Eagles, Journey, Fleetwood Mac, Bon Jovi and country artists we all know and love.”

JULY 19: GINNY & THE TONICS with Ryan Scoggins, Opener

Opening act Ryan Scoggins is a singer-songwriter who blends elements of country, rock, and Americana to craft songs that resonate deeply with listeners. Ginny and The Tonics perform Top 40 hits across several decades covering everything from Sara Bareilles to Fleetwood Mac to Van Halen. The Tonics feature experienced performers like Ginny Bledsoe, vocals; Ward Satterfield, vocals and guitar; Les Halman, vocals and bass; Jack Hitchens, vocals, keyboards and harmonica; Dave Mugge, lead guitar; and Allen Bentley, drums.

AUGUST 16: BEACH PARTY IN THE PARK with the R&P Band

MAC’s Beach Party in Chatsworth City Park will feature the music of the R&P Band from Dalton who perform a variety of beach music and rock. Wear your Hawaiian shirt & prepare to have FUN with great music and activities on the park lawn, as well. Concessions will be on sale at this event.

OCTOBER 4: BATTLE OF THE BANDS

Get ready for an epic night filled with electrifying performances and enthusiastic fans!
Submissions will be taken from area bands/performers from July 14 to August 15, 2025, but only FIVE acts will be chosen to “battle” on October 4!  Judges will choose the overall winner, but fans attending the night of the competition will be able to vote for their favorites for $1/vote.
